I own a Gibson Les Paul guitar that was painted with lacquer. I noticed in the upper top of the guitar that it already was starting to wear. When I took it to the guitar shop, They said in order to fix it the guitar would have to be completely refinished and that could cost up to $2,000. So I thought there must be a better way.
So I looked up guitar finishing on the Web and came across “Guitar Wrapping.” After more research I decided that this would could be the solution. The guitar would be wrapped with a plastic film designed to look like I want it to. So I brought my guitar to Sign Creations who do this kind of work. Mostly they wrap cars and do sign work for business. This is the first guitar that they have ever wrapped. They completely transformed the look of my guitar. They were friendly, did what they said they were going to do and at a cost of over half what it would have cost if I had the guitar refinished.
